At Wongaburra, we provide a transparent pricing structure for the care services available through your Home Care Package. Our goal is to help you understand the costs involved and provide you with options that best suit your needs, whether funded or privately paid.
Home Care Packages are designed to help seniors live independently at home. The Australian Government provides funding for four levels of Home Care Packages, based on the results of your Aged Care Assessment (ACAT). Each level of care has different funding amounts, which can be used for a variety of services.
All fees and charges are subject to annual indexation and Wongaburra Society’s annual cost review.
For individuals who need assistance with specific tasks but are otherwise independent, the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) is a great option. This program provides light support services and can be an ideal step before transitioning to a Home Care Package.
In addition to government-funded options, Wongaburra also offers privately funded home care services. These services are identical to those available through Home Care Packages, with the key difference being that they are funded privately by the customer. You can choose to pay for services on a private basis while still benefiting from the same qualified, experienced staff and comprehensive range of care options that Wongaburra offers to all clients.
